Confirmation of directorate change

As previously announced on 15 April 2010, SABMiller plc confirms that on 1 May 2010 Mr Mark Armour joined the SABMiller board as an independent non-executive director.

Mr Armour is a director of Reed Elsevier PLC and Reed Elsevier N.V.

There are no details to disclose under paragraphs 9.6.13(2) to (6) of the Listing Rules.
