                Change in particulars of non-executive director


In accordance with Listing Rule LR9.6.14, SABMiller plc announces that, with
effect from 28 November 2007 its non-executive director, Ms Liz Doherty, has
stepped down from the board of Tesco Kipa Kitle Pazarlama Ticaret ve Gida Sanayi
A.S. As previously announced, Ms Doherty will shortly be joining Brambles
Limited as Chief Financial Officer and executive director.

Tesco Kipa Kitle Pazarlama Ticaret ve Gida Sanayi A.S. is listed on the Istanbul
Stock Exchange.

Brambles Limited has a primary listing on the Australian Stock Exchange and a
secondary listing on the London Stock Exchange.
