Confirmation of directorate change


As previously announced on 7 May 2008, SABMiller plc confirms that Ms Maria
Ramos and Mr Rob Pieterse have today joined the SABMiller board as independent
non-executive directors.

Details of directorships required to be disclosed in accordance with paragraph
9.6.13 (1) of the Listing Rules were included in the 7 May announcement.

There are no details to disclose under paragraphs 9.6.13(2) to (6) of the
Listing Rules.
