Confirmation of directorate change


SABMiller plc has previously announced that Lord Renwick would, with effect from
the conclusion of the 2008 Annual General Meeting, retire from the Board. The
AGM having taken place earlier today, SABMiller plc confirms that Lord Renwick
has retired
